The Flow EX3 rim's internal Tiebeam bridge allows it to withstand impacts that would deform most rims to the point of air loss and structural failure. Even if you use a tire insert, significant impacts can cause the sidewall of most rims to bend, leading to air loss and eventual failure. The Flow EX3's Tiebeam reinforcement and patented low sidewalls resist this bending, maintaining air pressure and structural integrity better than any other rim.
