Shipping, Returns, and Warranty Policy

Our mission is to offer you a simple and satisfying shopping experience, from order to delivery. Below are the details regarding shipping, returns, and warranties for purchases made online or in our Longueuil, St-Jean, and Roussillon branches.

Shipping Policy

Processing Times

All orders are processed and prepared for shipping within 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email notification as soon as your order is shipped, including a tracking number to follow your package.

Shipping Options and Fees in Canada

We primarily ship with Purolator and Canada Post to ensure reliable and fast service.

  • Free shipping for all orders of $150 or more (before taxes).
  • Flat fee of $15 for orders under $150.

Delivery times are generally 2 to 5 business days after shipping, but may vary depending on your location.

In-Store Pickup (Free)

Save on shipping costs! We offer the option to pick up your online order for free at the branch of your choice:

  • Sports aux Puces Longueuil
  • Sports aux Puces St-Jean
  • Sports aux Puces Roussillon

Simply select the "In-Store Pickup" option and the desired branch at checkout. You will receive an email notifying you when your order is ready for pickup.

Exceptions and Oversized Items

  • Certain items (bikes, large quantities of hockey sticks, car racks, etc.) are considered oversized and are not eligible for free delivery.
  • Shipping costs for these items will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. If additional fees apply, we will contact you before finalizing your order.
  • We do not deliver to PO boxes. A civic address is required.

Return Policy

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • The item must be in new condition, with no signs of wear, and in its original packaging with all tags.
  • A proof of purchase (original invoice or order confirmation email) is mandatory.

 

Refund Options:

  • Full refund on the original payment method if the return is made within 10 days of purchase.
  • Store credit or exchange if the return is made between the 11th and 30th day following purchase.

Return Procedure for Online Purchases

You have two options for returning an item purchased on our website:

1. Return by Mail:

  • Initiate the return: Please contact us by email at web@sportsauxpucesrivesud.com or via our online return portal to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Packaging: Carefully pack the item in its original packaging.
  • Shipping: The shipping costs for the return are at the customer's expense, except in case of an error on our part. We recommend using a shipping service with tracking. Sports aux Puces Rive-Sud is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

2. In-Store Return:

  • Bring the item and your invoice (printed or on your mobile device) to one of our branches (Longueuil, St-Jean, or Roussillon).
  • Our on-site advisors will be happy to process your return, exchange, or store credit immediately.

 

Final Sale Items (non-exchangeable, non-refundable)

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Underwear and base layers
  • Helmets and mouthguards
  • Custom-ordered or personalized products
  • Gift cards

Clearance items (marked "Final Sale") are also excluded from the return policy.

Warranty Policy

We honor the warranties offered by manufacturers on the products we sell.

  • The warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not include normal wear and tear, accidental breakage, abuse, or misuse of the product.
  • To make a warranty claim, you must present the defective item along with the original invoice.
  • According to the manufacturer's policy, the item may be repaired, replaced with an equivalent product, or credited.
  • The warranty evaluation and processing period can take 2 to 6 weeks.
  • Transportation and handling costs related to a warranty claim may be at the customer's expense, depending on the manufacturer's policies.
