With the Recon 1.0, our goal was quite simple: to bring the performance inspired by the S-Works Recon to this more than accessible shoe. Easier said than done, but we succeeded in creating a durable shoe with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency. So yes, we can say: mission accomplished.
Using our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole features a TPU-injected forefoot providing natural foot movement when walking or carrying, while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0 for perfect pedaling efficiency. The Recon 1.0 plays a double game: efficiency on the pedals while maintaining comfort and confidence off the bike.
To provide impeccable grip off the bike, on wet or dry ground, gravel or dirt, we covered the nylon outsole with our SlipNot compound. We also raised the heel for an even more natural feel when walking.
Three Velcro closures make it easy to put on the Recon 1.0 and create the ideal support for more performance and comfort whatever your playground.
- Body Geometry outsoles and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
