When we designed the Sierra-W, our goal was to produce the lightest snowboard boot we've ever made, while maintaining the distinctive riding experience of Nidecker's modern footwear line.
The lighter your boot, the longer and harder you can ride. We are pleased to announce that the Sierra-W is 27% lighter than its predecessor. When you reduce weight, it all starts with the outsole. With the Sierra-W, we've equipped it with our Gravity outsole, made from lightweight and durable EVA. We designed the lugs in the same way as the rest of our outsoles, drawing inspiration from our mountain playgrounds and adapting them to provide maximum grip.
The upper part of the boot closes quickly and precisely with a single BOA® H4 dial located on the tongue. We used BOA®'s TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, increase durability, and offer a more natural feel when closing. Inside, our thermoformable Bronze Level Liner with a Single Density Footbed will keep you comfortably warm. The 1:1 durability means we used specific shells, liners, and outsoles for each size and half-size. Comfortable? Extremely comfortable. Like the rest of our range, the Sierra-W features an asymmetrical shape on the outside, ensuring a perfect fit with our binding hibacks and optimizing power transfer. This also applies to landing slopes, turns, or powder descents at the resort. The Sierra-W offers great value, allowing you to access Nidecker footwear technology and feel without breaking the bank.
