The Salomon Sight snowboard is an all-mountain board with a freeride-inspired shape. Its tapered directional shape improves turn feel and float, while the Cross Profile provides stability and control on groomed runs.
Stability, control and float
- Tapered directional shape: promotes smooth riding, good float and more natural turns in varied terrain.
- Cross Profile: camber between the feet provides control, pop and landing stability, while rocker in the tip and tail facilitates float in both regular and switch.
- Quadratic sidecut: the blend of elliptical curves makes turn initiation easy, improves control on hard snow and speeds up edge-to-edge transitions.
- Medium flex: offers an accessible balance of stability, response and forgiveness for beginner and intermediate levels.
Construction and glide
- Royal Cork rails: cork blocks integrated into the high-pressure zones of the ABS sidewalls help dampen vibrations and impacts for a smoother ride.
- Popster core: its strategic machining allows for more natural flex underfoot and dynamic energy transfer to the tip and tail.
- All-Mountain EB edges: the 1-degree bevel in the tip and tail and 2-degree bevel between the feet promotes edge hold while limiting unwanted edge catching.
- Extruded base: offers durable glide and easy maintenance.
- ABS construction: combines rigidity for energy transfer and damping to absorb shocks.
- BIAX HD fiberglass: contributes to stability and control across different terrain.
- 4 x 2 inserts: allow for standard binding installation.
